Best kids bike around. This thing is heavy – that’s a good thing. The material is thick, the welds are great – it will last forever. Compared to other brands that I looked at, Schwinn’s build is much, much better.

The hand brakes are a little weak.

You Get What You Pay For. It works, I’ll give it that.

The coaster brake causes so much drag on the hub that my five-year old has difficulty pedaling.

The bike is sturdy – too sturdy. It’s too bulky and heavy to control well or get started without a push. The tires are so fat and soft they actually interfere with steering.

Like I wrote in the title: you get what you pay for. Spend the extra money – get a real bike at a real bike shop. It will make a real difference in your child’s riding experience.

I ordered this bike for my grandson who lives in another state. The shipping time was AWESOME! However, the bike was received with the rear tire bent. We called the company and they shipped another tire FREE. The same problem happened with the 2nd tire — Pacific Evolution Boys Mountain Bike was also bent. It was an additional charge from a local bike shop to adjust all the spokes and hand brakes to get this bike so it could be ridden.

Not up to snuff. I bought 2 of these bikes for my twin boys. The shipping was great and they arrived unscathed, but one of the front frame nuts was missing…Off to the hardware store. My wife and I put the bikes together, but I had to adjust the brakes and the derailer on both bikes. After the boys rode the bikes on the first day, the chain kept getting stuck on 6th gear. I had to keep adjusting. Besides the components being of cheap quality, the frame and tires were fine.[...].

parts were missing. luckily my husband bikes a lot, because this bike didn’t come with any instructions AND was missing parts. he was able to take parts off of an old bike so all is well, but v. annoying. it was missing the seat post skewer and bolts, as well as both pedals. amazon was nice enough to give us a 20% refund. my daughter’s bike also came without instructions…

damaged during shipping- poor replacement options. Bike arrived in a busted up box, missing pieces and damaged. Amazon offered several less than ideal replacement options.

Who knows if the bike is any good. But I have noticed several other customers mentioning that the bikes arrived broken or bent, I just wanted to let you know that trying to get a replacement isnt easy and from the looks of things its going to takes us weeks to get a new bike. Hope its not snowin’.
