I have had it for over 3 months, and am ussing it to train for my first marathon. I am STILL finding new functions and ways to improve my training. My Garmin 305 is like my own personal coach that gets up for a run with me and does a good job a keeping me motivated. The various alert options are great for letting you know when your heart rate or pace is too high or too low, and I love that I can plan my workouts for a week and have them loaded ready to go for me when I am ready to go for a run…no fuss. At first I thought the watch was going to be too big since I have very small wrists, but I don’t even notice it. My only cons would be that it does take some time to find satellites on cloudy days, and if you are running on a trail with lots of tree covering, you may get some erattic pace readings for a little bit (maybe too slow at first and then it will pick up a little faster than you are going to compensate). So just remember to try to keep your internal pace-o-meter steady when this happens. Other than that, this thing is awesome.
