How did you get interested in robotics?

I don't know how I got interested, but I've been into computers since I was about ten. However, I did a pure science degree, and then ended up as an IT Systems Analyst rather than going into robotics.

What are you working on now?

Now I've gone over the the dark side (the Arts) and I'm working on a PhD in Communication and Cultural Studies. I write about factual and fictional robots as a way to think and talk about what it means to be human or a person. In particular, I'm exploring the idea that communication is more than the transmission of information between selves and others.
