I have not read the book but am very eager to as my therapist said it really helped change her life! But, the book was in great condition and arrived on time, no damage, and what you see in the picture is what you get!

We purchased this vacuum with high hopes given the reviews here, but quickly ran into a huge problem: the vacuum pulls “fuzzies” out of our carpet like nobody’s business. Even with it set to be as high off the ground as possible, a sweep of the whole house yielded hundreds of carpet fuzzies laying about all over the place. Worse, the vacuum was literally *jam packed* with carpet fiber – the intake, hose, everything.

It took about an hour to clean the whole thing out. (It really was incredible how much was stuck in there. It was completely unusable.) I was left with a shoe box sized box full of packed carpet fiber to throw out, as well as all the fuzzies strewn about to pick up.

My theory is that the roller is simply too close to the ground, even on the high setting. I don’t think it’s our carpets, which are of the typical new house short, textured plush variety. Nothing old or shaggy or anything.

I fixed this issue by disassembling the intake cover and putting a washer underneath each screw channel. This pushed the base of the intake further out, thus decreasing the protrusion of the brushes. After this modification, all seems to be well. The added bonus is that the vacuum doesn’t leave such noticeable lines in the carpet.

Upon close examination of my mother’s $400 vacuum cleaner (I don’t recall the brand) I noted that on the high setting the roller is completely disabled. Perhaps Hoover makes up for poor suction power by heavy reliance on the roller. Whatever the reason, I’m afraid I would not purchase this unit again.

its suction power is OK, a bit cheaplooking. Once received it, I was excited to try it. However, after operating for exactly 15 minutes something got caught inside, the belt was broken, it got hot and burning smell was everywhere. Returned it the next day. I got “Hoover Elite Rewind Bagless Upright Vacuum” instead, about 20$ more expensive but much nice and expensive looking, suction power is great, rewind wire, bagless, air-circulation mark… I love the bagless one. Bottom line, DO NOT BUY, WASTE OF MONEY. Pay a bit more and get a better machine.

I admit, when this book first recieved its crazed hype and was announced to be produced into a feature film, I did not intend to read it. Me being already smack dab in the middle of another vampire series, I looked at this book and wondered if this was one of the best vampire/romance books ever written, considering its popularity. Also because of the fact that my mother (who could easily pass as a Twilight mom) read the book and absolutely loved it, telling me it was “right up my alley”. Thinking to myself, what’s a girl to do, I decided to dig in to the action.

As you already know, Twilight is about a clumsy, insecure 17 year-old girl who reluctantly decides to part from her mother in Phoenix to spend time with her dad in a rainy town of Forks, Washington. After many anxious days at her new school, she eventually develops a deep infatuation with a mysterious, beautiful vampire named Edward Cullen.

I will say that I did not enjoy this book when I first started reading it, which is surprising for a 14 year old girl to say. This book’s audience is mainly teenage girls, and after reading it I can ssee why. Book 1 mostly centers around Bella’s love for Edward, which is probably why the suspense doesn’t start until the end of the book. It’s buildup isn’t all for the big finale at the end, its also to remind the readers how much Bella cares for Edward, and would even put herself in life-threatening danger to be with him.

When I first started reading this book, I behaved just like a Twilight hater would. I thought Bella was a snobby, self-centered brat who only cared for Edward and his mind-blowing beauty. When you take this book too seriously, that’s kind of how it looks. I stopped reading it until many months later I decided to start from the beginning and read the book all the way, having some strange itch to explore more into the story. After getting past all the annoying remarks of Edward being perfect and gorgeous, I have to say I really enjoyed it.

As a bit of a horror film buff, I’m always looking to check out some of the older b-movie horrors of the past, both to learn more about what makes for a good scare, as well as to get interesting insights into exactly how and why those things have changed over the decades. And I can safely say that “Eaten Alive” provided none of that for me.

This is the third film from Director Tobe Hooper (known mainly for his cult classic “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre”). Once again, the film revolves around a mentally disturbed person, living within the southern part of the United States. This time around, the story is about a deranged inn keeper who, for reasons never explained, keeps killing the guests who come to his motel and feeding them to the large crocodile in the swamp next to it.

Those who are familiar with Hooper’s style, will see a lot of similarities between this film and his most famous work, “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre”, which was the film he made directly preceding this one. It is filled with the kind of strange and oddball cinematography, with weird neon lighting and close-up focusing shots on weird images throughout, that Hooper is known for. But unlike the previous work, it doesn’t really gel here. What once might have been directorial excess, is simply pointless and unintelligible nonsense. It is obvious he’s trying to set an eerie and creepy atmosphere, but it is just so poorly crafted and lacking in any sense of commonality, that what is meant to feel bizarre and surreal, feels completely unbelievable instead. The script for this must have been about one page long, as that is how bad the plot and storytelling here is.

The acting is, also, very much below par, even by low budget horror film standards. It is shown that the inn keeper (played by Neville Brand) is out-of-his-mind, but we never come to understand why or what it is the guests do that sets him off. Shipped fast. Product exactly as described. Price great. Heart rate monitor very difficult to see , very small numbers. This is fault of garmin. All other features that I have used so far are good. I would buy this product again. Also it cannot be used for swimming.
Towards the Summit of

I know at Auto stores that stuff isn’t cheap. I needed one 15a fuse for my horn, and I knew if I went to an Auto store it’d cost me like 3 dollars just for a fuse. So I checked Amazon.com and this kit had 150 pieces plus some great tools. It has a socket tester, alligator clip, and a tweezers. The auto tester is very nice to see if juice is coming through for the sockets. I think the light inside it lights up if it is good. The tweezers are nice and long for pulling hard to get fuses. The alligator clip is used to install fuses I believe. Anyways, this kit is great and comes with a great variety of fuses. For 8.50 plus amazon prime shipping I got this for a steal. Even for regular shipping is about 12 dollars all said and done, this is still a great deal. I would have paid up to 20 dollars for this kit.
