Only the first 53 pages of 227 pages discuss inflammation. The rest are recipes. The first part has no diagrams showing how inflammation acts on the body. I was disappointed in the book. It seems mostly a book of recipes. Also, the book has recipes for fatty and cholesterol rich animal foods which are know not to be heart healthy. I think that there are better and slightly more academic books out there that may be a better buy if someone wants to get into more depth on subject.
The Anti Inflammation Diet

I am very disappointed in the performance of these headphones. Without wearing a swim cap, they are extremely difficult to keep in my ears. I was trying to use them to do my aqua aerobics class and whenever I bounced or jumped, they came out. Also whenever they came out and got wet, the sound was almost totally gone, and at times was gone, from the earpeice. I would not recommend this product.

I love my kindle. I love to read, but never seem to have the time to go to a book store to browse around. I hestitated for several months deciding if it would be worth spending over $250 for this item. I’m glad I did. It’s easy to use. Has lots of extras on it. Small enough to put in my purse & take anywhere.

And I love the “sample” feature it has for books. This allows you to read part of the book before purchasing it, so you can see if it is truly something you would be interested in reading. I’ve only had my kindle a short time & I’m already on my third book. Would highly recommend the Kindle.

I bought this as a gift for my husband, an avid Triathlete. Really, both of us could not be more pleased with it! My one concern when I bought it was its size, but that hasn’t proven to be a problem at all. Its wonderful features more than make up for its size. He tends to run the same route, and greatly enjoys being able to ‘race himself’ with the features built in. It allows him to know so much about his run that it has helped him improve greatly! I am so pleased with this purchase, and was very happy with the price. I would recommend this to other athletes in a heartbeat!

Have been so busy all I’ve done is look at the kindle. I am not the most coordinated so I have to get comfortable with the 5 way control button. When I’ve actually had a chance to use it, I will submit a more detailed review.

I received my iPod about 4 months ago, and it has crashed twice. I lost $30 from the iTunes store due to it crashing. I had downloaded music on my iPod because my computer had a bad virus and I could not upload it to my computer. Therefore when my computer crashed I lost every song I downloaded and iTunes does not allow you to redownload music. Now don’t get me wrong, I love this, it’s a great music playing device, great video player and almost everything else. With the new apple update that is going to come out that allows multitasking this will be great! I would not have lived through my 5 month computer virus without it. It is not durable at all, the back is all scratched up due to just light use (I’d suggest a case). The app store is fantastic, “There’s an app for that”. I would suggest this product (with an extended warranty!) to anyone with a little extra cash. With little consumer support from Apple and small improvements this could be perfect. Until then I’ll just stick with my computer being perfect.

For the past 3+ years, I had a Mirra which performed flawlessly until recently when the power module failed ( after the warranty expired of course). Since I was “up the creek”, I decided to try this Buffalo. Received it yesterday, set it up in less than 30 minutes, and I’m really wowed by the ease of use and seamless performance. The Memeo software is working perfectly — I had to download the Vista update today for my wife’s new computer, but that too went perfectly. I have nothing but praise for this device so far. If it seamlessly protects my vast photo archive and my other files, it’s well worth it. One thing — be sure to disable any firewalls when installing through a home network, then re-enable them. If you don’t, you’ll get flummoxed quickly and be tempted to call for support needlessly.

UPDATE: The hard drive suddenly quit without warning. No amount of re-starting would bring it back. of course, it was just TEN DAYS out of warranty and Buffalo wouldn’t stand behind it. As with many companies today, “Customer Service” is just words without substance. I’ve switched to another backup system which is performing flawlessly.

The main character is Artemis Fowl 12-year-old boy is a cunning evil crook mastermind that won’t stop until he gets his hands on fairy gold. Another character is Captain Holly Short who is a magical elf on LEPrecon and has no time to “refuel” her magic so her magic is very weak.

The plan for Artemis is that he will take a fairy hostage for large sums of fairy gold! He is doing this evil mastermind scheme so that he can restore the Fowl’s family reputation and fortune.

The setting of the story takes place at a lot of different locations but mostly and the Fowl mansion and it goes on for a long 10 days.

The theme of this story I would say is probably thinking one step a head of your “opponent”.

I liked the story because you could never put the book down. It always kept you guess on what would the next step be for the LEPrecon force and how would Artemis react.

Precision Design EW 60C

One of the best books I have read in years. I was raised in the South and my grandparents and all of their siblings had maids in their homes. Even as a child, I questioned why “the help” had their own bathrooms out in the garage and why they had to eat in the kitchen (I would eat in there with them) so I related to this story. I felt sadness for the way other human beings were treated, joy at every little victory they had, hope that the future was changing with their stories and I didn’t want the book to end. I couldn’t wait to get off work to read some more and found myself thinking about the characters throughout the day. Aibileen, Minny & Skeeter were wonderful characters and we have all know a Hilly!

Woven throughout the book are the individual stories of the maids and how different their lives are away from the white people they serve. We learn their hopes and dreams, how they feel about their church and their neighbors, how they share with each other what the families they work for are really like when no one else is there.

Kathryn Stockett’s first novel is a joy to read! I would recommend this book to everyone.
