Take Denali Bike Road GMC now
Just what I needed. Folks, this bike does not promise the moon. It is a very inexpensive road bike. With that said, I am very pleased about purchasing it! I had an older bike and considered upgrading GMC Denali Road Bike but the cost was going to be prohibitive. Also my wife asked me to listen to reason and not blow $600 on a bike if I wasn’t going to be serious about it!
Well, I’m still not serious but let me tell you about the bike.
First, Amazon shipped it right on time (in fact a day early!). And the bike arrived in good shape, the box had some damage but nothing serious. I unpacked it and assembled it with no issue, but I have some experience with bikes. Just go slow with the directions close by and you’ll be fine. The only thing I really had to adjust was the front brake. Also look closely at the front tire sidewall and you’ll see that the tire is meant to turn a specific direction. I adjusted the seat/handelbar position and went for a spin. I made more adustments on the seat until I got it just right. The existing seat is ok, but I’ll probably upgrade before too long. Everythng works well and I do like the twist shifters even though I was unsure if I would really like them. I will have to make some derailleur adjustments for both the front and back derailleur. The shift position is close but not perfect, kinda what I expected.
If you want to save the hassle or don’t have the experience then a stop at your local bike shop for a tune up and that will fix you up.
I was worried about getting the right size, but the Medium is perfect for my chunky 6′0″ frame.
The Shimano components are fine and the brakes are adequate (second on my upgrade list after the seat). All in all a TREMENDOUS value for the money.
I have just made a dozen short runs (just a few miles each) and I’m really looking forward to more time on my new bike!
Updated 9/2007 – Still have the bike and now I’m really of the opinion that you need to get your local bike shop to tune it up for you. Spend 3 hours on it last week and it performed better than I did! 
Great bike for the entry rider and my friends with their very pricy bikes agree. Great value, but you need to have a real professional tune it up.

GMC Mountain Bike is GREAT. I love this bike, it’s light, it looks good, it’s comfortable, it rides amazing, it’s a great price for what you get. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
BMX Mongoose Strike Bike beta
mongoose bike. I got this for my 14 year old son for Christmas. It is now the end of August and Mongoose Strike BMX Bike has been a good bike for my son. He is a tall kid at 5′10, but he rides this bike every day with no problems. I had no problems with shipping, parts, or instructions.
Thrasher Schwinn Adult Micro Helmet Bicycle OK?
Excellent price, great fit and comfort. I have read many reviews on similar products before buying, but was attracted to this helmet mainly for the price. It turns out the helmet is very comfortable and attractive with it’s black composite type detailing. There is an easy to use knob adjustment that is infinatly adjustable between the largest and smallest opening. It fit me and my wife perfectly. Cannot go wrong at this price.
The 12-Inch Explorer Dora Bike about
Adorable Bike. This bike is absolutely adorable. The decals on Dora the Explorer 12-Inch Bike are cute. My daughter is 2 months shy of 3 but is 37″ tall so she can ride this bike. She loves it. I wouldn’t recommend it for any child shorter than 37″ or they may have a hard time reaching the pedals even with the seat adjusted all the way down to its lowest position. The good thing about this bike is that a 3 to 6 year old can ride it so your kid will get lots of use on it because the seat is adjustable in height. For the price, it isn’t bad. It even has a little Dora backpack you rest on the handlebars which is great for holding your keys and things when you are taking your kid out for a ride. Of course, your kid can store what they like in the backpack, but you can probably just store a juice box and keys since that’s all the room there is in it.
The tires are nice and sturdy and will need to be pumped up with a standard bike pump. The bike comes with training wheels which are a plus. However, the training wheels are not as stable as one would hope, which is why I gave this bike 4 out of 5 stars. You have to be careful that the bike does not tip over on it’s side as it did with my little one. She rolled down a little bump from a stand still position and the bike tipped to the side and she fell. Just be sure and hold your child steady when going down any slope or incline is all–otherwise, the bike is great.
Bike Boys Schwinn Scorcher model
Great bike, great delivery time, great experience. Very high quality product. My rough and tumble son has taken a few spills on Schwinn Scorcher Boys Bike already and it is holding up outstanding. I Highly recommend it!!
